Two Inclusion and Diversity Business Partners are required for permanent roles paying GBP44,051.38 per annum with British Transport Police (BTP).
BTP is the national police Force for the rail network throughout Great Britain, including London Underground, across which we ensure the safety and security of nearly 3 billion passenger journeys and over 100 million tons of freight every year. The world in which we work is fast–paced, operationally and commercially demanding, and constantly changing. As Inclusion and Business Partner with BTP you will play a key part in the delivery of the commitments and goals outlined in the Inclusion & Diversity Strategy, by partnering with the business on development, delivery and implementation of initiatives to achieve Force and BTPA objectives.
The work location is flexible, and home working can be facilitated, although some attendance will be required across BTP's national sites and for face to face events and meetings.
As Inclusion and Diversity Business Partner you will be required to:
* Design, develop and implement the BTP approach to Inclusion & Diversity including policy and process development, operational initiatives and employee engagement activities.
* Provide expert advice to the People & Culture Team and Senior Leaders on Equality, Diversity & Inclusion matters; including the identification of risks and opportunities.
* Provide advice and guidance to all employees, including on / in response to operational policing activities including critical or major incidents and any other adversely impacting policing activities.
The successful candidate will be required to evidence the following:
* Recognised professional qualification e.g. CIPD membership (working towards Level 7) or Post Graduate Degree.
* Evidence of formal training in Equality, Diversity & Inclusion / demonstrable practical experience gained within a Diversity & Inclusion portfolio .
* Thorough knowledge of equality and diversity and sources of potential/actual discrimination in employment.
* Fluency in welsh language, written and verbal is desirable if located in Wales.

* Salary of GBP44,051.38 (plus a London Allowance of GBP2,700.10 if London based)
