Programme Manager (Integrated Data)
Rate circa – GBP400 per day on a / 6 month rolling contract / 35–hour week 9am 5pm / Flexible working / Work from home options.
A highly reputable organisation is currently hiring a Programme Manager who has previous experience within the public sector, preferably children's services, integrating data from multiple sources. The chosen candidate must have strong capabilities in data maturity assessment, integrated data and strong programme management skills.
This is an exciting project, where you will have a real impact on improving the lives of vulnerable children within the local borough. You will be response for multiple work streams, including Information Governance, identifying data and producing 360 records for front line practitioners.
Purpose:
Reporting to the Head of Service (Performance, Policy and P'ships) to oversee a co–ordinated programme of work with the aim of enhancing the council's data maturity. To deliver an integrated data solution drawing on council–held data that is used by front–line practitioners and strategic leaders across the council.
Main Duties:
To commission a review of existing data sharing arrangements
To develop robust data governance infrastructure to enable the safe sharing of internal council data within the confines of the Digital Economy Act
To commission and oversee the development of a data product supporting decision–making at the front–line as well as informing the council's Transforming the Way we Work with our Communities' programme
To establish robust programme governance structures, including a project plan with clear milestones to enable the effective delivery of work
Skills/experience:
Knowledge and experience of IT programmes applied within an operational environment (Children's Services) desirable
Experience of deliver complex programmes in challenging environments working with 3rd party delivery partners and senior decision–makers.
Programme/project mgt qualifications
Ability to delivery against tight deadlines and to work in a fast–paced environment
Self–started and motivated to made change
Team player ability to make effective connections and develop professional relationships quickly
