SF Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well known international business who are looking for a Finance Manager on a permanent basis.
Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, you will be joining the business at a time where there is a lot of change going on in the company and where you will be able to really effect what happens in the working practices that are adopted.
You will be responsible for all of the accounting activities for a number of regions and will have oversight of the work done by colleagues in a shared service centre to ensure things are done efficiently, correctly and in a timely fashion. This is very much an all round role where you will need to have strong technical accounting skills, along with the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
The ability to operate in an ever changing environment is a must for this role and no two days will be the same. You will be used to the size, scope and scale of a large organisation and will be comfortable in presenting to an audience up to board level.
You will have a proven track record of strong leadership as you will be responsible for the training and development of a team of 8 accountants who will be looking to you for guidance on best practice.
To be considered for this role, you will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). This role would suit an individual who qualified in practice and is used to complex problem solving
