Head of UX Design
– GBP90k
– Field based role – 3 days working from home , 2 days client based
I'm currently recruiting for a Head of UX Design on behalf of a rapidly growing leading technology provider who supports the insurance space. The successful candidate for the position will be expected to travel to their offices with occasional travel to European offices.
What will your day to day look like as Head of UX Design ?
Identifying end–user needs and behaviour through research, including observation, interviews, surveys, analytics, and user testing
You will be responsible for directing the team as well as developing and growing them as individuals
Create prototypes that demonstrate the intended end–user experience and key interactions
Set a departmental culture and goals that drive innovation
Foster a culture of creative collaborative and bring together the best practices from design disciplines enabling the exchange of creative thinking to create a world class design department
What is required to a successful candidate ?
5+ years' experience in a senior UX/Design role with at least 3+ years in a leadership role (including people management)
Proven track record of shaping and designing successful B2B products
Excellent communication and written skills
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Invision, etc
