Communicate is working with an estate agent based in London in search of a Finance Director. A fast-growing SME with six different offices covering the majority of London, this business is looking to further expand by building offices and operations in surrounding home counties. They are now in need of a Finance Director to lead one of their divisions, head up a small finance team and aid with expansion and transformation as the company continues to grow.
The Role:
Newly created, this role will have a large focus on building out and leading the company’s team of 3. Reporting into the Group Managing Director, you will be in charge of the business’ three divisions.

The Role:
Newly created, this role will have a large focus on building out and leading the company’s team of 3. Reporting into the Group Managing Director, you will be in charge of the business’ three divisions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the leadership team in order to establish growth strategies and plans across the business.
- The ability to oversee the financial due diligence process and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the financial model in order to drive the company’s capital forward.
- The ability to work with the board of directors on strategic decisions, as well as being able to support any potential future fundraisings that the business comes across.
- The capacity to influence decision making and provide strategic analysis and guidance
- Ensuring all statutory, tax and digital reporting deadlines are met by the team.
- Maintaining relationships across the business teams and act as a trustworthy business partner to key stakeholders and company leaders
- Reviewing all cash flow requirements across the three divisions of the business on a regular basis.
- ACA/CIMA Qualified from a Top Ten practice with a minimum of 5 years PQE
- The ability to work on multiple tasks at once – excellent time management & organisational skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- The ability to manage, guide and lead a finance team while guaranteeing that all financial processes are correctly followed
- Well versed in accounting principles and financial skills
