Business Development Manager
GBP40,000 Basic Salary
15% bonus

Mon – Fri 9–5
We design, install, and maintain conveyor systems for multiple industries such as Food and Textiles as well as provide spare parts to other providers of the same.
What we need from someone is a sound background of sales within a manufacturing capacity. Someone with astute knowledge of how a production line is run will be essential to have technical conversations with customers.
Role
To win new business with manufacturing businesses across the UK
To visit customers within your set region
To work as part of a team within the offices however there will be option to work from home so long as you are located within the area and are commutable to the office
You will have an internal sales support system who will assist in the administration of work load so you can focus your time on making money as well as fantastic business relationships
Looking after an existing area of customers (20–50 depending on work load)
Upselling where possible
Renegotiating service contracts
Keeping in touch with customers on a regular basis
Sales forecasting & keeping to targets outlined
Experience Required
Field sales / face to face interaction with customers & closing deals
Technical Sales experience (engineering ideally but not essential)
Working in a product & service lead environment
Experience with conveyors would be ideal but not essential
Must be from a manufacturing / engineering background
Team working attitude
Drive to succeed and deliver a good service
