We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner, someone who thrives on challenge and working in a constantly changing and evolving environment. This role is responsible for leading the employee relations approach across Ground Control and delivering a business partnering service to the business, helping them see and understand the benefits that great HR can deliver. This role will allow you to join a business with a breadth of activity and stakeholder engagement across multiple lines of services. You will also have scope to engage in both change management and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll achieve:
- Will lead in planning and implementing our employee relations strategy and bringing it to life across the business whilst proactively managing any ER issues and case work.
- Liaise with Trade Union representatives and handling all negotiations with Trade Unions with regards to any activity across the business.
- Managing inter–company transfers and TUPE transfers.
- Developing strong and effective relationships with relevant stakeholders, providing compliant and customer focused advice and support.
- Supporting and coaching business leaders to develop their line management skills in line with Ground Control values and culture.
- Support development and learning programmes as required and evaluate, monitor, and embed the learning.
- Strong business and financial acumen, ability to influence inside and outside of HR demonstrating a high level of integrity in all interactions.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and translate business initiatives into clear Human Resources deliverables coupled with a process–oriented, forward looking approach
- Ability to create and reinforce Ground Control's values and culture.
Who are we looking for?
- Significant experience in managing a wide range of employee relations issues including disciplinaries and performance issues.
- Strong employment law knowledge.
- Experience managing trade union relationships and working in a unionised environment.
- Experience managing intercompany transfers and TUPE transfers.
- Strong analytical and data management skills and ability to use Excel at an advanced level.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to manage delivery of messages into multiple audiences.
- Highly collaborative individual with the ability to work in a constantly changing and highly fluid environment.
