We are seeking an experienced, detail orientated and driven Business Analyst to help support the business with improvement programmes. This is an exciting time for Novus as our technology team is growing, this new position will be part of a team created to transform our business, changing the way we work.

We are embracing hybrid working, so are flexible on your location, however, teamwork and collaboration is also important and therefore, to be in our Stoke on Trent Head office, 1–2 days a week, with the rest of the week being spent at home or wherever you need to work from to be successful

Summary – Business Analyst

The overall objective of the role is to support the business in identifying improvement opportunities and ideas across systems, people and processes. Your role will analyse complex business data and assess business improvement ideas with the objective of identifying business change requirements and will then work with the business transformation team and key stakeholders to take from "concept to reality."

Working as part of the Business Transformation team and with Stakeholders at all levels.

What we are looking for from the Business Analyst

  • Working with all operational functions, you will be involved in the design and delivery of business change and improvement initiatives in line with business priorities.
  • End to end system and change delivery; including requirements gathering, facilitating workshops, business impact analysis, technical specification, development, testing, implementation, training and operational handover.
  • A critical liaison between non–technical/technical stakeholders, facilitate open communication and discussion between stakeholders
  • Managing smaller scale change projects to ensure the change portfolio meets the needs of all users and is delivering continuous benefit

Key Sills

  • Experience of analysing people, process and systems to support the design of new ways of working (processes) and the delivery of business requirements within successful project settings.
  • Demonstrate how you have applied your technical expertise in defining business analysis approaches within Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience of stakeholder management at all levels within a business
  • Experience of working in a multi–site complex organisation across multiple teams and disciplines to deliver the best results for the business.
  • Be detail–oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy whilst ensuring complexity is understood by stakeholder groups
  • Highly proficient user of Office suite and MS Visio, Power Point and Excel, Power Bi is not essential but would be advantageous.
