Head of Sales and Retention

Are you an established Manager based near to Southampton, who has a proven track record developing Sales Managers to ensure they're getting the best out of their team?

Are you seeking a new challenge, and would be interested to work in a very well established, acquisitive, high growth broker who are advocates for investing in their people and have a huge UK footprint?

Following the recent integration of 3 business, this role is key to delivering the company's strategy for growth in revenue through their SME retention team partnered with the firms branch network, and support development of the company's customer proposition

Purpose of the role:

• Performance management to ensure delivery of the team's new business and renewal income target
• Supporting the development of the Team Managers and Account Managers using the L&D Pathways
• Delivery of additional revenue growth through client referrals
• Delivery of profitable income growth through management of the SME Retention Team (B2B), and delivery of associated new business and renewal income targets
• Management of the relationship with the firms Branch Network to increase reciprocal customer referrals

You:

• Ideally experience in insurance, however not essential
• Successful management of sales teams to deliver income targets
• Successful management of key distribution relationships (providers, referral Partners)
• People management, including leading through change, and understanding of disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Demonstrate experience of supporting proposition development, in respect to products, services and/or client servicing propositions
• Able to work in Southampton 3 days a week
