Finance Manager

We are currently supporting a fast growth ecommerce brand operating within the sports & lifestyle arenas which is fast becoming a well recognised and respected brand.

The business has double digital growth plans for the next 5 years and beyond and this opportunity presents an exciting opportunity to prorgess to Head of Finance and Finance Director within the next 2–5 years.

This is a broad, all–encompassing Finance Managers position you will have the opportunity to work directly with a hugely passionate, fast track CFO and learn an incredibly amount at an early stage in your career

Key Responsibilities are as follows and in no way limited to –

Provision of financial and Management Information reporting covering monthly, quarterly, annual P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow reports

Monthly and quarterly Tax reporting across the UK as well as a number of international locations

Operational reporting and insight as required including KPI and sales performance reporting

Business partnering with wider support team on a daily basis budget analysis and forecasting

Identification and management of financial risks

Manage the relationships auditors in respect of all audit and statutory reporting requirements

Monitor financial and wider company performance to identify areas for potential improvement

Support with process and systems improvement and development as the business continues to invest and grow in line with current business plans

Support with commercial and strategic project work on an ongoing basis

The role is suited to qualified finance professionals (overseas equivalent) who possesses relevant post qualified experience

Previous experience within the retail, ecommerce or digital sectors would be hugely beneficial

Ability to thrive within a fast paced, entrepreneurial and constantly evolving environment is key

We have a starting salary on offer of GBP60–70K + bonus + bens (potentially higher for the right person)
