Position Description
As part of E&DS and Engineering Services, the Energy Programme Manager will be
responsible for managing the delivery of projects and services within the BAE Systems Energy
portfolio. They will lead to project delivery teams, taking an active role in projects and
programmes to assure and ensure team outputs meet the required standards and developing
the teams capability. They will support the Energy service Lead in developing the business strategy and partnership
strategy.
The Energy Programme Manager will lead on energy business operational output and contract
deliverables. Support business winning activity, building effective and intimate customer
relationships, while also building an expert and cohesive team to deliver on key
commitments.
The Energy Programme Manager will ensure team adherence to business policy and process
and support the monthly business reporting cycles.
The Energy Programme Manager shall deputise for the Energy Services Lead as required.

Ensure consistent application of Project Management capability and thecompliance with the NBS tailored LCM process, through requirements capture
to hand over to in service support.
Responsible for the content, collation and dissemination of Project/Bureau
Reports and information internally (BAES) and externally (Customer)Service Delivery
Plan and deliver systems infrastructure projects within the Base Supportportfolio including risk and opportunity management, to time, cost and quality
Responsible for understanding the needs of the customer and the consistent liaison andreporting to Direct Manager, Customer and supplier communities
Key Accountabilities
Responsible for monthly project contract reviews (BSR/CSR reviews for majorprogrammes)
Lead the management of the cGBP10M+ growing Strategic Net Zero Carbon (energy)Infrastructure Improvement Programme
Team management of Training & Development
Demand consolidation and reporting, working with Engineering and Supply Chain toensure appropriate support into the Systems Programme
Maintain high standards of internal PM, SHE & Financial Governance and Reporting
Establish and maintain strong relationship with NBS Ops and Chief Engineers Team
Engage with Functional Leads to ensure a tailored LCM process, etc
Work with PM Functional Resourcing Manager on Demand/Supply solutions
Ensure all System project resource requirements are considered and appropriatelymanaged (engineering, supply chain)
Pro–actively developing and delivering opportunities into the new/existing customer base.As required, making representation at customer meetings
Lead partnership development activity
Qualifications/Functional Knowledge
Have an honours degree or equivalent professional qualification or working towards
Demonstrate strong project management capability through application
Have undertaken complex programmes delivery
Have led delivery of projects within a demanding operational environment
AMP Professional
Proficient understanding of LCM process
Infrastructure and maritime project delivery
