Client Details
My client a leading UK mobile infrastructure services company. They are at an exciting time in the company's development. They are leading the conversation on innovation and developing sharper solutions to serve their customers better. They collaborate as a team to meet the high standards expected and demand the best through their values.
Description
The role will involve exposure not only to legal suppliers and colleagues but also the commercial arm of the business. Therefore, a confident and articulate communicator is required who can advise on negotiations with landlords at heads of terms. An understanding of risk coupled with a creative and pragmatic mindset will prove useful here.
Part of the Legal & Compliance Team's function is to continually improve and add value to the way my client progresses legal work streams. The role will involve spotting areas that are fit for transformation and devising new solutions, often embracing IT that can deliver results more efficiently.
As the legal work is outsourced they rely heavily on relationships with legal suppliers to ensure that work streams are instructed and dealt with in a manner and at a cost that is satisfactory to my client. As such, they foster close working relationships with the legal supplier teams which require daily management and support. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in this and will require strong interpersonal and project management skills.
As part of a busy Legal & Compliance Team, there are departmental tasks that arise and form part of the regular work stream; from organising and attending meetings with suppliers, collaborating with the wider team and recording minutes, to providing legal training to other factions within the business. This role therefore requires a strong team player who is enthusiastic and willing to immerse themselves within the team culture.
