Harvey Nash's Public Sector client are recruiting a Head of Finance & Procurement on an initial 6 month contract, inside IR35 at a rate of between GBP31 - GBP33 per hour.
To manage the Finance Team to deliver a challenging finance agenda in order to effectively support and develop the core functions of the organisation and to ensure that it meets its statutory obligations, the Board's corporate goals and manages all risks appropriately
The post holder will support the Director of Finance and Corporate Services to create the organisation's financial strategy which will include three year financial planning to ensure that sustainable financial balance is achieved. The post holder will also be responsible for managing the Procurement and IT activity for the organisation
Essential Skills:
- Strong people manager
- Strong on implementing financial controls
- Strong on financial strategy and budgeting
- Able to roll sleeves up and get stuck in when required
- Highly desirable - procurement experience
- Qualified accountant
