A Rotherham based Manufacturing business are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to drive forward the finance team. The business are extremely well established within their sector, and with turnover and profits continuing to rise, this is an extremely stable organisation and sector to join.
The role reports into the Finance Director, and offers a succession plan for the right candidate. You will need to show experience within a Finance Manager or Finance Controller role, and be comfortable producing a detailed month end pack that will give you exposure to the Managing Director. You will take a key lead in the budgeting and forecasting process - analysing the key commercial and operational information that comes from the production floor.
Building relationships with the key stakeholders within the Operational areas of the site will be crucial, and the FD is looking for someone who is comfortable walking the shopfloor and delving into the detail.
Experience in manufacturing is desirable - but someone who has worked in a transferable industry that can highlight excellent Financial Management skills will be considered. You will manage a small team, and the FD is looking for someone who is open to and can work with change. This is not a job for someone who just wants to complete the tasks that are on their job spec. You must be a confident and strong communicator and able to spin multiple plates. Qualifications is a must, but there is no preference on background.
