Business Development Manager
Do you have previous experience with selling a design service? Are you technically minded with experience in the manufacturing/ engineering industry? Then we would love to talk to you.
Location: Stroud
Salary: Circa GBP55,000 per annum + car allowance
Hours: Full Time Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:

To achieve required levels of design and manufacturing sales at target margin contribution based on agreed company objectives
*
Winning new customers with profitable sales in our selected markets
*
Setting up meetings with new customers
*
Account management of existing clients
*
Pursue potential product opportunities in selected markets
*
Telephone prospecting for new clients
*
Creation and management of sales proposals and quotes
*
UK and occasional International travel for meetings and trade shows
*
Generation of customer meeting and trade show reports
*
Enter and maintain customer data on internal company databases
*
Liaise with engineering and product management on customer projects
*
Assistance with generation of content for marketing communications
Performance indicators:
*
Order input monthly
*
Contribution margin for all sales
*
Number of customer meetings per month
*
Number of proposals and quotes generated per month
*
Timely production of customer meeting reports
Key skills:
*
Sales and Account Management
*
Generating new sales leads and prospects
*
Negotiation skills both within the company and external to the company
*
