Resource Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Workday Business Analyst for a 4–month contract. This role will provide an opportunity to be part of a global top–10 insurance group and a flexible approach to working.

Role Objective:The Workday Business Analyst role in this project is to support the Senior Project Manager, Subject Matter Experts & 3rd Party Workday Support Partner to deliver the Advanced Compensation Module for AUL by focusing specifically on delivering the agreed business requirements, defining and executing scripts for unit, facilitating the execution of user acceptance testing with business users, monitoring regression and user acceptance testing, acting as point of liaison with Company Business Services HR team and agreeing with the business the necessary criteria for go/no go decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the 3rd party vendor to deliver the Advanced Compensation module within Workday, configured to the business requirements
  • Refining those business requirements (both functional and non–functional) to ensure that the full business and IT impacts are considered
  • Defining scripts for the unit, regression and user acceptance testing of the module configuration
  • To explore solution(s) to the conflicts between system functionality and business requirements and to recommend the best approach
  • Strong stakeholder engagement
  • Promote adoption of the target processes and procedures
  • Provide advice and guidance on functional interdependencies identified during requirements analysis
  • Capture identified risks or issues
  • To be an influential member of the project team in determining the most suitable solution for our stakeholders opportunity

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Min 3–5 years financial services exposure
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday and Workday Configuration
  • Solid understanding of Human Resources business processes
  • Business analysis experience
  • Experience with outsourcing and /or external third–party suppliers/partners
  • Strong understanding and experience of business requirement analysis, translation to test scripts and execution of those scripts
  • Ability to multitask and to manage workload without daily supervisor interaction
