Head of Financial Planning and Treasury
Eden Brown Built Environment are working with an organisation to secure a Head of Financial Planning & Treasury. This is an exciting role focusing on the below.
The role holder leads the development of the business plan, ensuring the plan is appropriately funded.
They will take a lead role managing the Group's debt portfolio and lead a small team of treasury specialists to do this. They will also lead a team of finance professionals who actively influence operational financial decisions, shaping strategy and the direction of the business.
They work across the Finance team ensuring that financial strategy, sub–strategies and financial planning and investments for its subsidiaries remain financially strong and resilient to economic shocks. They support the Chief Financial Officer by ensuring decision making is well informed by appropriate analytics, identifying risks and mitigation options.
They will oversee and develop new approaches and drive continuous improvement to all aspects of the department's activities.
You will need to be Qualified accountant with significant practitioner experience and hold appropriate treasury qualification
A sound understanding of the challenges facing the housing sector, and the regulatory and legal frameworks we operate within.
Proven ICT capability
Change Management – ability to manage organisational and cultural change with a future–focused approach.
Budget/Financial management – highly developed skills in financial management and good business acumen
Communication – highly developed communication skills with strong presentation and interpersonal skills
Staff Leadership to be a highly effective, enabling manager with the ability to develop staff to maximise potential and drive up personal performance
Problem solving and decision making – ability to analyse complex situations and have the courage to make difficult decisions and implement them
Relationship Building – ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
Negotiation and influencing – ability to negotiate with lenders and funders and to persuade others to follow a particular course of action
Financial Planning – ability to model and stress–test various scenarios using software such as Brixx
Ability to contribute at strategic and operational levels, across multiple business streams.
