Residential Property Lawyer (no billing targets)

A well respected traditional law firm are currently seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join their busy office in Crawley. With extensive administrative/secretarial support, you will be able to focus on delivering exceptional levels of client care, and focus on doing what you trained to do – give legal advice!

The firm are seeking a Residential Conveyancer who offers the following skill set/background:

Be qualified – either a Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer, with at least 5 years fee earning experience
Strong technical knowledge of residential property matters including sales and purchases of leasehold and freehold properties, transfer of equity, remortgage, (not essential) plot sales/new build
Interest in business development/networking/marketing
Be highly personable
Able to maintain strong professional relationships
Excellent communication skills
A keen team playerThe firm receive a large proportion of work through their referral network, however there will be the opportunity be involved in business development activities. It is not necessary for the successful Conveyancer to have a following, although it would be useful.

You will be supported by Secretaries and Paralegal support, working closely with other highly respected Fee Earners. There are genuine opportunities for progression, with the opportunity of heading up the department for the right Conveyancer.
