Starting a commercial function from scratch is daunting, right? Or Not? If you're the latter and this sounds like an incredible opportunity to build a sales function from scratch, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

This organisation are looking for someone experienced in selling cloud based SaaS solutions, who can set up and own a sales–function, a self–starter who enjoys autonomy but also being involved in shaping the functions of a growing SME, who later down the line would be interested in company equity. Are you the person who relishes the challenge of pushing a small company forward?

You will be joining a business who are challenging the norms with the technology available in their industry. You will be responsible for growing their client base within both the Mid–tier and Enterprise business spaces, who will truly benefit from the solution on offer.

Your role
As a new business hunter you will be well versed and comfortable in generating your own new business opportunities from scratch and managing the full 360 sales process with the support of pre–sales. You will be responsible for closing deals with new logos and at the forefront of/playing a key role in this businesses growth plans.
You will:

– Create your own opportunities and managing through to close, the full sales cycle.
– Follow up on warm opportunities incoming from marketing
– Work with c–suite decision makers and technical end users within Enterprise, Mid–Market and SME organisations
– Self–Generate leads and build a pipeline
– Work with leadership to grow international presence with potential clients
– Create a sales strategy to increase revenue

The company
This company is devoted to low code creating powerful API's / API templates that allow businesses via their own in–house developers, to increase efficiency, productivity and in some cases replace legacy core services with API's.
This is powerful in many situations, not only reducing costs dramatically (by up to 90%), but reducing time taken to get existing systems and teams working collaboratively (18 months' coding time reduced to 1–2 months!)

You in a nutshell
• You have 4+ years\' experience working in direct new business sales.
• You have sold cloud based SaaS into both Enterprise and SME/Mid–tier companies B2B (not resellers)
• You'll be responsible for the full sales process
• You\'re a new logo hunter, performance driven, keen to close sales and hit your sales target.
• You are a proactive, self–starter with strong team work capabilities
• You have sold SaaS complex solutions in the cloud space
• You have sold to C–Suite IT/Tech stakeholders before
• You have experience in identifying use cases for dev teams/ sales opportunities for selling API products that speed–up the development process
• You will have great commercial awareness
• Great written and verbal presentation skills
