Morgan Hunt are currently working with a well–known Educational Institution based in London, in their search for a temporary Business Analyst to map business processes and requirements through a large transformation programme within the organisation.

You will be responsible for mapping the processes for a range of business units and will involve analysing organisational design to create such processes relating to service delivery. You will be responsible for capturing problem statements and business needs, producing As–Is and To–Be process maps to develop a structure process catalogue.

You will be documenting requirements, conducting data analysis and modelling as well as designing solutions to promote efficiency along with change plans and transition road maps.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Business Analyst with experience working on large and complex transformation programmes, within complex and layered stakeholder environments.

You will understand the interaction between business operations and technical solutions, with experience using business process mapping tools (ideally Engage Process Modeller). You will ideally have experience within in an agile environment and understand Lean/Continuous Improvement principles and techniques.

This role will offer the potential for extension and will require a minimum of two days per week office attendance in London.

Location: Home & London (2 days in Office)

Daily Rate: GBP440.00 – GBP475.00 (PAYE)

Job Type: Temporary (3 months, likelihood of extension)

Hours: Full–time (36.5 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture of problem statements / business needs / business rules
  • As–Is and To–Be Process maps (Engage Process Modeller)
  • Developing a structured process hierarchy / catalogue
  • Identification of Service measures, metric and KPI's
  • Documenting requirements (both operational and systems)
  • Data analysis and modelling, such as operational demand analysis
  • Identification of cashable and non–cashable benefits
  • Designing solutions to promote efficiency and effectiveness
  • Overseeing the implementation of approved process improvements
  • Change plans and transition road maps
  • Integration of new services into the Target Operating Model
  • Developing comprehensive end–to–end (E2E) test cases

Personal Specification

  • Experience working as Business Analyst on large and complex transformation programmes and projects
  • Working under your own direction, demonstrating a proactive approach and being comfortable with, and resolving, ambiguity
  • Working in complex and layered stakeholder environments
  • Working in a regulatory environment
  • Being 'hands on' and an active member of the team
  • A qualified Business Analyst or have relevant industry experience
  • Experience of working in Higher Education or similar industry sector.
  • Experience of Engage Process Modeller or similar process diagramming tool
  • Experience of Lean / Continuous Improvement principles and techniques
  • Experience of working in an agile environment
