Principal Property and Regeneration Lawyer
LAW Absolute are working with a local authority based in East London who are seeking a locum Principal Property and Regeneration Lawyer for three months initially.
The successful Principal Property and Regeneration Lawyer will not only be required to manage a team but also lead on interesting and varied regeneration and development projects happening in the Canary Wharf area.
The team currently consists of 2 x Senior Lawyers, 2 x Lawyers, 1 x Legal Assistant, 1 x Trainee. You will ideally have managed a team before and have experience allocating work, undertaking one to one catch up meetings, dealing with performance related matters and generally ensuring the work is completed on time and to a high standard. Direct management experience in a prior role is not essential but desired. Previous regeneration and development experience is essential. This is a non-negotiable requirement. You must have a track record dealing with property CPO matters, housing regeneration schemes, dealing with and advising on S.203 of the Housing & Planning Act and leading on high value property regeneration projects.
Our client is open to candidates with experience working in the private sector advising local authorities, or candidates with local authority experience. You must have a current practising certificate to be considered for the role. A DBS will also be required, should you be successful.
Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are seeking candidates available on no more than 4 weeks' notice.
