We are looking for an experienced Associate Director to lead on Energy Services programmes and projects that drive energy and carbon savings in buildings. As Associate Director, you will work with the Principal Engineer to lead a team of 10 engineers on the overall commercial development and operational delivery of all client Energy Services programmes.

We are looking for an experienced Associate Director to lead on Energy Services programmes and projects that drive energy and carbon savings in buildings. As Associate Director, you will work with the Principal Engineer to lead a team of 10 engineers on the overall commercial development and operational delivery of all client Energy Services programmes.
Role
- Manage ongoing energy Services programmes for portfolios of buildings
- Develop and maintain key client stakeholder relationships at multiple levels to drive programmes forward and develop further opportunities
- Coordinate and develop a team of junior engineers
- To support and QA monthly exception reviews and identify opportunities for further energy savings within BMS systems HVAC and capital works programmes
- Support the delivery of quarterly Measurement and Verification (M&V) reporting outputs
- Using advanced technical knowledge and skills lead on initial energy services projects with new client buildings – from initial analysis through to confirmed implementation of identified energy saving opportunities
- Working with junior engineers to identify Energy Services opportunities
- Develop proposals, pricing and leading on sales calls and meetings for the sale of Energy Services Programmes and renewal of contracts
- Operational team leadership – ensuring KPIs are agreed and achieved
- Attendance and leading of weekly team meetings (Project Review & Forecasting weekly)
- Attendance at weekly senior Delivery Management Team meetings, feeding into and taking actions from these
- Management of company workload management software for team – Open Air (time) and Monday (outputs)
- Ensuring all required team Administration is completed on a daily, weekly and month cadence
- Continuous development of systems and processes
- 8 years + experience working within the building decarbonisation space
- Energy efficiency and renewable energy industry experience
- Strong team leadership
- Project and Programme management experience
- Line management experience
- Cultural and Values fit
- Working knowledge of different BMS and renewable energy and heating systems (desirable)
- Energy auditing of large commercial buildings across multiple client and portfolio types
- BMS optimisation
- Energy data analysis
- Project and programme management
- Ability to share information in a clear, concise manner
- Exceptional time management skills
- Client stakeholder management at all levels
- Commercial Real Estate experience (desirable)
- Demonstrable team development skills (desirable)
- Chartered Engineer / Energy Manager
- BEng Mech Engineering – focus on buildings and plant infrastructure
- Project Management qualification (desirable)
- MSc in Built Environment or Similar (desirable)
- CMVP Qualification (desirable)
