HR Business Partner: Newcastle based with remote working available: 4 Month Fixed Term Contract until Jan 2022 (potential temp to perm): Paying up to GBP60,000 (pro rata)

Morson are proud to be supporting our sustainable technology client to assist them in finding a qualified and experienced HR Business Partner to join their team on a fixed term contract basis until the end of January 2022. There is a potential temp to perm option available for the right person.

The HR Business Partner will report to the Head of People and will be responsible for all generalist HR activity including overseeing recruitment for the UK businesses, participating in company initiatives such as salary reviews, workforce planning, organisational change, selection and performance and benefit projects. Further responsibilities include:

Consulting with employees and managers across the business to address root causes of human resource issues
Coach and upskill employees and managers on HR policies, procedures and programs
Support development of talent by identifying training needs
Designing and conducting training programs
Assisting with the development of new programme and initiatives
Participating and leading group project activities and sponsored events
Managing relationships with recruitment agencies, preparing job descriptions,
Conducting interviews for potential new starters and managing the process through to offer stage
Leading the student internship program
Tracking HR data and trends, updating the HR Information System and reporting monthly, quarterly and ad–hoc metrics as requiredThe HR Business Partner will need drive, enthusiasm and good communication and interpersonal skills to achieve the desired results. Previous experience of working in a generalist HR capacity at HR Business Partner level is essential along with the following skills/attributes:

Strong Stakeholder management skills ability to interact and communicate at all levels of the organisation
Good problem–solving skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise work accordingly
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Must have a high degree of moral and ethical behaviour
Ability to work autonomously with minimum guidance, but also able to operate effectively as part of a team.
Flexibility to travel in UK and overseas (as required)
