Intro: We are recruiting for a newly created role in an established and growing Skills Provider. Our client is looking for an experienced and driven Employability Director to strategically lead and operationally execute the growth of the Employability Division. Our client has recently won and has started delivering a number of new Employability contracts across the UK.
Role and Responsibilities:
The role of the Employability Director will be to:
– Direct, lead and drive the performance of the Employability, funded provisions across the UK
– To contribute and support the strategic and operational planning of their Employability activity.
– Ensure the highest level of delivery is continued and adhered to across the business
– Drive performance and build an infrastructure to create a high performing, impactful team which supports participants
– Ensure the Employability team works in synergy with the rest of the Skills business, providing a well rounded, seamless journey for participants and employers
– Reporting key data and MI to the board and ensuring key objectives and are met and exceeded
– Transform and make a difference to participants your team engage with.
Experience and Skills:
The ideal Employability Director will have:
– Have worked on ESF / AEB / DWP funded provision, strategically and operationally
– Have lead and managed a high performing team
– Operated at a Head of or Director level
– Have experience of making meaningful impact and working within a provider offering more than one funded provision
– Have a proven track record of building and managing a growing Employability Provision
