A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Design Director to join a highly successful retailer working across Jersey, Lounge and Nightwear ranges on Childrenswear, Menswear and Ladieswear.
The Design Director will oversee all aspects of design, production and sales and will build and develop a successful team across design.
Other responsibilities of the Design Director will include;
- Managing the team's workload
- Working closely with the current design teams overseas, briefing them on ranges and ensuring their work meets requirements
- Liaise with and regularly visit factories overseas
- Create concepts, carry out research and set the creative direction of the ranges
- Identify ways in which the business can expand as well as recruiting team members
The Design Director must have excellent knowledge of the design and development process and previous experience and knowledge in working with American retailers/consumers.
