As the business embarks on its next phase of growth an experienced HR Director is needed to work as part of the Executive and lead the people agenda. There is an established HR team in place, who have developed strong foundations upon which to build.
The successful HR Director will continue to create a happy and healthy environment where people can bring their whole selves to work. A place where individuals and teams deliver outstanding levels of service, combined with high levels of operational excellence and productivity.
The Successful Applicant
A key ingredient to success in this role is the ability to adeptly understand the business operations and priorities, and articulate sound commercial initiatives that build a strategy, improve performance, and drive tangible ROI.
To be considered for this HR Director appointment, you will have a proven experience as a solid Head of HR / HR Director within an autonomous, operational, and strategic role.
As an HR Director you will have:
* Worked as part of an Executive team to devise and deliver an HR strategy that supports the delivery of business and customer goals, improving the organisations' performance and overall effectiveness as a result
* Experience of PE–backed SME businesses that have grown quickly through acquisition and an understanding of both the technical and the people challenges this can bring
* A deep understanding of organisational design in support of business transformation and integration
* Strong leadership skills with experience of inspiring and empowering teams and increasing engagement, capability, professional excellence, and performance to achieve quality outcomes
* A strong affiliation with technology and be able to articulate the benefits that it enables to the employee proposition and business outcomes
* Excellent influencing and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively and deal confidently with a wide range of stakeholders including Board–level
* Championed company values and brought about change that has enabled greater diversity and inclusion within a business
* A proven track record in developing reward and recognition programmes that align the goals and objectives of the business
* Commercial acumen; data–driven decision making, and understanding of people analytics
* A confident and assertive manner which combines a personable approach with a professional style, that successfully drive things forward and takes people with them
* A CIPD qualification or experience that matches
