A truly unique opportunity has arisen for a Global HR Director to join an ambitious and fast–growing international technology business.

The purpose of the role is to establish and deliver the People strategy that will support the business in achieving its wider strategic objectives, whilst ensuring the organisation puts its people at the heart of everything they do.

Working as part of the SMT you will help shape the future of the organisation; you will be an integral part of the strategic decision–making process, driving change and pushing the business forwards.

Some of the key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Development and implementation of HR strategy
  • Supporting the business on organisational design methodology
  • Leading the organisation's HR function including talent acquisition and retention, learning and development, employee engagement and internal communications, reward and recognition,
  • Leading on engagement and wellbeing
  • Creation of Diversity and Inclusivity strategy
  • Developing long–term goals around people development, including succession planning
  • Reporting on performance of the HR function and progress against plans and objectives
  • Taking oversight of the company's culture

The successful person for this role will be a passionate individual with extensive experience of working at Board level, on a global scale and will have experience within a high–growth environment. CIPD qualification is a must, along with the following attributes:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Tenacious, with a proven ability to drive and successfully embed change
  • Assertive self–starter and independent thinker with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage large volumes of work Excellent attention to detail with the ability to cope under pressure and prioritise demands
  • High level of discretion and business ethics

Please note that the successful candidate could be located anywhere in the UK – but must be able to travel within the UK, in particular to Manchester and internationally.
