Opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to work for a leading e–commerce and dustribution/logistics supplier based in Northampton, to join on an initial 3 month rolling contract.
This role is an immediate start and would require the individual to be based onsite 5 days a week for the first few weeks before moving to a more remote working environment. The companyy has a brand new global campus which is completely state of the art.
The successful Business Analyst will deliver:
* Identify system efficiency and functionality by liaising with internal departments and end–users
* Create scalable and future–proof solutions that consider and solve immediate needs whilst also looking further as part of our business objectives and product roadmap
* Be responsible for finding data and platform risks and suggesting new solutions to address and eliminate these risks
* Process and Value Stream mapping
* Work with the business stakeholders to understand business problems to consider the scale/size of solutions
Key Business Analyst experience in the below:
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Experience working as part of agile software development lifecycle, including refinement process and story readiness
* Experienced in workshop facilitation
* Experienced in requirements gathering and process re–engineering
* Experienced in process mapping, modeling and data flow diagrams
* An understanding level knowledge of networks, databases and other technology
* Track record of engaging with stakeholders and backlog prioritisation
* Experience working on feature requests and prioritising appropriately
* Ideally an understanding of eCommerce, logistics and fulfilment services
* Experience writing acceptance criteria in BDD format
* Experience with tools such as: JIRA, LucidChart, GSuite, Balsamiq
