Division: Liquid Personnel (part of Acacium Group)

Location: Manchester (with frequent travel across the UK

Salary: Negotiable (DoE) plus uncapped commission/bonuses

We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Manchester, working in a business who are market leading specialists in the Social Work, Healthcare, Nursing and Criminal Justice sectors.

What will you be doing as a Business Development Manager?

  • Identify and build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities, mapping out key contracts and implementing a tailored strategy to generate new revenue
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
  • Think strategically– seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop and improve the business
  • Raising the company profile through the attendance of expositions and seminars
  • Regularly meet with customers and clients both face to face and over the phone, to ensure the highest levels of customer service are provided

As an ideal candidate for this role you will:

  • Have a proven track record of building and developing a sales pipeline, ideally within public and private healthcare organisations
  • Previous experience working in recruitment
  • Must be able to undertake frequent travel across the UK
  • Have a proven history in building relationships and creating business development opportunities
