The Role

We are undertaking a number of initiatives to help our business service teams operate more efficiently and cohesively, with a focus on high quality service delivery to internal clients. We are recruiting a Business Process Analyst / Project Manager to support this.

The Business Process Analyst / Project Manager will:

  • Lead the management, analysis and delivery of projects (including business case and requirements definition; process improvement reviews and mapping; data modelling and analysis; functional design; solution assessment; implementation planning; UAT; end–user communication and training)
  • Develop and manage project control documentation (such as project plans; action logs; RAID logs).
  • Monitor and control designated projects to ensure delivery to time and budget, taking action to mitigate risk and resolve issues where required.
  • Produce audience appropriate project reports and ensure all stakeholders receive correctly targeting communication.
  • Support change management and communications across projects within the transformation.
  • Identify and prioritise core, internal business service processes to be (re)mapped.
  • Consult business service department heads and their subject matter experts to understand governing policies, purpose of processes, desired business outcomes, and business success criteria.
  • Lead process design workshops and take responsibility for output and delivery.
  • Map processes and align where business output is complimentary.
  • Audit existing process documentation for completeness, accuracy and usefulness.
  • Identify core competencies required to deliver processes e.g. data verification and entry, document production, content harvesting and storage, report generation, research and analysis.
  • Document implications of any process change to facilitate development of change impact assessments.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong project delivery experience
  • Highly motivated self–starter who is adaptable, pragmatic, and has a can–do attitude.
  • Ability to act decisively, and move projects with pace
  • Good knowledge of process frameworks, process methods
  • Adept at process analysis, producing process documentation and process modelling
  • A good understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles
  • Workshop facilitation skills
  • Influencing skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
