Allen & York are proud to be working exclusively with Turley in their search for an Associate Director / Director of Planning to help head up their Northern Planning Team in Manchester.

Turley is one of the largest planning and development consultancies in the UK and is employee–owned, so everyone who works there has a stake in the business. As such, this is a fantastic opportunity to work and be part of an organisation that truly put their people first. Operating a blended, flexible working model allows co–owners choice, freedom and flexibility as to where, when and how they work. Balancing personal, team and client requirements, Turley are continually evolving their approach to ensure everyone can deliver 'at their best'.

This role will be instrumental in the development and direction of a highly skilled planning team, who take the utmost pride in their work. You will advise on some of the most significant development projects across the Northern region of the UK and continue to deliver on Turley's outstanding reputation for providing the highest standards of service. This is reflected in the clients they work with and the continued growth and successes of the business.

As an Associate Director or Director, you will draw on your ability to think strategically and to work with the team to grow the business. Having held MRTPI (Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute) status for several years, you will have vast professional expertise with in–depth market knowledge, gained from previous roles within the private or public sector in a planning and development role.

As an experienced manager, with a wealth of experience pitching, developing and winning new business will be second nature to you. You will be able to take advantage of your experience of running a team to demonstrate both capability and passion, and help develop the strategy for the business across several different planning disciplines. You will have proven success in growing teams through targeted campaigns and expertise in fostering key client relationships of mutual benefit.

Your appetite to progress and succeed in this role will give you the perfect opportunity to transform your career and you will continue to develop strong, long–lasting relationships within your network of clients and contacts alike.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive an excellent remuneration and flexible benefits package including medical insurance, ownership dividend and performance related bonus.
