The Strategic Accounts Director will be responsible for relationships among people, groups, or departments that have joined together for the mutual benefit of the business and client. You will advise and help clients realise their potential with Securitas, articulating the benefit across their security, fire and safety spend profile, helping them to achieve their business objectives.

You will play a pivotal role in Securitas; a true people leader, leading and developing the workforce and working collaboratively to influence and coordinate across the portfolio. You will proactively work in partnership with teams across the business and have responsibility for the overall strategic direction and operational performance across the Portfolio – supporting customers to thrive.

Having a thorough understanding of the security industry and associated British Standards is essential for you to deliver compliance throughout the portfolio.

This is a home–based role with the requirement to travel nationally, regions of London, South, South West and North West. You will receive GBP9,400 Car Allowance on top of your salary.

How you will make an impact as a Director in Securitas

Drive the Purpose Strategy, ensuring that everyone understands the business purpose and supports the three main elements of Client Centricity, Innovation and Empowered People.
Identify and maximise business development opportunities within the client portfolio, focusing on the clients experience to bring innovative and practical solutions.
Build and sustain strong and long–lasting relationships with the client and maintain frequent contact with their Senior Executive team.
Manage projects, negotiating agreements and developing Commercial Account Plans that install account growth and client efficiencies.
Engage with the customer's organisation and decision makers, utilise business and industry skills to create new opportunities.
Negotiate regular price reviews and take responsibility for ensuring debt is paid to terms.
Understand the customer's business objectives, cultures & decision–making process, identify stakeholders & key decision makers, in depth knowledge of their purchasing strategy and competitive market.
Provide total account support and maximise customer satisfaction levels whilst creating a detailed and long–term account and engagement plan.
Analyse, identify and create productivity and efficiency in savings across the account for the benefit of the customer and Securitas, utilising expertise available across all Securitas businesses.
Ensure that the customer is presented with coherent and professional MI statistics in relation to account performance / Performance Management Systems.
Create effective working relationships between the different members of the virtual 'reach back' account team to continue to drive and improve team productivity and ensure the customer receives a consistently high standard of service.Essential Skills

Right to work in the UK, 5 year checkable history and pass a high level of security clearance
Hold a driving licence and be prepared to travel
Organisational Awareness – Industry, Competitor and Product/Service Knowledge
Previous management experience
Project management skills, account planning & analysis
Excellent at consulting, negotiating and an ability to build strong relationships
A positive influencer that shows initiative, creativity and sells solutions
Ability to think both strategically and operationally
Excellent oral, written, communication and listening skills
Willingness to undertake further formal training and development
Honest and trustworthy with the ability to work flexibly and in a team environment
