Our client is a global specialist venture capital investor which is looking for a Chief Operating Officer to join their team. This is one of the first senior hires for the business and you would work closely with the General Partners running the firm, requiring the oversight of finance – which is outsourced – legal, compliance, operations, investor relations, risk management and HR.
You will have an important, hands–on role both in terms of additional fundraising, angel investment activities and co–investment SPVs. In this role, emphasis will be placed on streamlining internal processes and systems, alongside projects surrounding ESG.
You'll need significant leadership experience within a PE/VC setting, with ambitions to facilitate the firm's growth journey by expanding the infrastructure, setting up the operational strategy and managing day–to–day operations of the business.
