YouGov Sport is looking for an experienced, passionate Senior Analyst to join our team in London as an Associate Director, managing a small team of media analysts and providing leadership on a wide array of media research projects.
Key areas of focus:
* Support department lead with management of several complex media projects at any given time.
* Support Client Service team to meet client needs through managing timely delivery of insightful reports.
* Take the lead in the onboarding, data preparation, methodology application and report writing for new clients.
* Take the lead in developing new approaches, models and methodologies that will enhance report accuracy and speed of delivery.
* Lead asset valuation and audience validation tasks.
* Support colleagues to build the capacity of YouGov Sport's data processing and visualisation tools
* Take the lead in training and developing Analyst knowledge and skill set in client specific methodology.
Key accountabilities:
* Collection of secondary media data through targeted bespoke searches
* Analysis of broadcast data, making logical and accurate estimations where appropriate
* Preparation of data, making decisions regarding extrapolation and methodology application.
* Uploading of data to proprietary dashboard
* Perform data validation and verification checks, quickly addressing any discrepancies
* Report writing, pin pointing key insights and building on analysis to explain emerging trends
* Enhancements of the above–mentioned actions, acting as the subject matter expert when developing new analytical tools and methods
* Lead projects relating to asset valuations and audience validations
* Develop the skill set of colleagues in the area of project specific methodology
* Lead project proofing service that supports the wider Media Reporting Team
* Management of a team of remote and non–remote analysts / junior analysts – scheduling workload, monitoring progress of individuals across multiple projects, coaching team members.
* Advising Media Lead / Client Services team of any scheduling issues.
* Support Client Service team in handling client queries, demonstrating insights to clients and developing metrics to be included on dashboards
