Commercial Director – Engineered Solutions
Global manufacturer of machinery in the Waste to Energy sector are looking for a hands–on Commerical Director to drive Sales in their Engineered Solutions division.
This is a chance to build a team around you.
Due to the nature of the Technical Solution sell, it is expected that you will have an Engineering degree.
Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: GBPcompetitive plus bonus and benefits
The Candidate:
* Degree qualified in Engineering or related subjects
* Proven track record in delivering high level bespoke solution sales, incorporating product design, project management and services, with average sales value in excess of GBP1m
* Proven track record of delivering against GBPmultimillion revenue targets
* Ideally have a working knowledge, possibly as a Project Manager, of complex contracts such as IChemE Red Book or NEC 3 or similar.
* Experience of International sales experience would also be advantageous
* Engaging, energetic and influential leadership style
The Role:
* With a global remit, you will establish and own relationships with prospective clients, to deliver GBPmultimillion contracts involving an Engineered solution to a waste management problem, ideally generating energy as part of the process.
* Build and used simple business models to analyse profitability, develop effective responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP), develop effective forecasting models.
* Maintain market knowledge, both domestically and internationally, and adjust sales strategies as required.
* Continuously identify new business opportunities and target accounts.
* Manage key account relationships.
* International travel will be required when necessary.
* As business grows, grow the team
