Systems Engineer – Automotive
Are you looking for a long term and rewarding Systems Engineering contract?
We are currently looking for an experienced Systems Engineer for an initial 6 month contract working for one of our major Automotive clients in the West Midlands working on a new and complex long term programme, with a high likelihood of a contract extension. This will give the right Systems Engineer the opportunity to work with a forward thinking and exciting business who are on the cutting edge of technology within their sector.
The successful Systems Engineer will be experienced in the following:
* Requirements Capture & Management (DOORS is useful)
* Tier 1 Automotive Experience
* Safety critical experience
* Validation and Verification of Electronic Equipment
* High level of mechanical knowledge
* Writing test scripts/strong documentation skills
* Strong understanding of the full Systems V Cycle
* Experience working to ISO26262 (certified is a plus)
The day to day role will be managing the customer requirements and taking ownership of them throughout the process to ensure they are met. This role will also be customer facing so we need people with strong communication skills.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Systems Engineer to become an integral part of a project supporting some of the biggest Automotive businesses in the UK.
