As part of this growth journey, the company is now looking to appoint an ambitious and innovative Operations Director to develop and implement the operational strategy across the Group. This person will be joining an extremely entrepreneurial, high calibre leadership team that strongly encourages career development and promotion from within whilst providing a supportive and fun working culture.
Reporting to the CTO, the Operations Director will be responsible for driving efficiencies across companywide logistics, warehousing, product build and repairs processes, developing a suite of KPIs and Service Levels against which to measure performance, helping to support continuous improvements and resource optimisation, and will work closely with the Logistics Manager to ensure the efficient delivery of products from overseas to the UK, Europe and the US. This person will lead, manage and coach, providing inspirational leadership and direction for the Operations teams and will be someone who naturally strives to exceed service excellence whilst supporting business growth and revenue targets across a national customer base.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a senior role in manufacturing, production or distribution logistics environments across multiple locations and a proven track record of operational success within a business to business environment across the UK. You must have the ability to understand and accurately analyse financial information and proven P&L or cost ownership experience and accountability. First class team leadership, interpersonal and communication skills are essential, with the necessary pace, motivation and coaching skills effective for deployment across a wide spectrum of people and processes.
