IT Business Analyst - Commercial

We're recruiting for a Commercial Business Analyst to join our IT team here at McCain.

It's the job of our BA's to work with our business stakeholders to gather, analyse, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to and the implementation of new business processes, practices, and information systems at all levels of complexity.

Within the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) domain, the Business Analyst performs a liaison between the business and the IT side of the enterprise, and can also provide detailed system training, testing, and support.

Reporting into our IT Business Partner you're also responsible for???

* Project Managing. Initiates, plans, controls/monitors, executes, and closes projects (In–Country or Global projects). Takes full accountability for the accomplishment of the stated project objectives. Manages the triple constraint for projects, which is cost, time, and quality. Strong link exists between this work and the Project Management Office (PMO)

* Project Execution. Execute tasks, at all levels of complexity during every phase of an implementation project including business processes re–engineering, business analysis, training, testing, and support. May manage work packages which will require an understanding and adherence to IT implementation methodologies and practices (Project Management Methodology, Systems Development Methodology, Project Management Office)

* Account Management. Develops and maintains relationships with a primary focus on business customers including senior executives with a secondaryfocus on Internal IT (Global Technology Centre and In–Country), providing support and analysis where necessary and ensuring alignment between IT and the Business.

* Application support/testing/training/enhancement. Ownership of the analysis, requirements gathering, and testing during the IT system enhancement process. Ownership of the application support/incident management process (issue identification, root cause analysis, issue resolution,testing and change management), of IT system issues within Service Level Agreement (SLA) Guidelines.

Our ideal candidate will have???

* An IT or Engineering educational background

* Proven experience in IS Commercial Projects (Desirable: Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud, eCommerce, Advanced Analytics, SAP Sales & Distribution)

* Business–oriented professional (Desirable: CPG Industry or Ag related industry a +)

* Results Driven Professional with Project

* Management Experience

* Customer relationship management capability

This is a Scarborough based contract but even though our Head Office is in Scarborough, North Yorkshire and we operate a hybrid working policy here at McCain and our culture is based on achieving outcomes, so although we'd love to see you from time to time success will be measured by the objectives you deliver, and not where you're based
