Marketing Business Partner

We are looking for a Marketing Business Partner to develop and lead the UK strategy to facilitate the overall growth of Bureau Veritas' Greenline business areas. The role will focus on the Greenline growth markets and by applying market specific strategy deliver the plan of increasing market share, revenue and/ or profit.

You will develop and manage a communication strategy for the business area sitting within the overall marketing strategy positioning Bureau Veritas as a 'voice of the market' / 'strategic partner' concepts which provide the vehicle for marketing campaigns and events.

You will also manage the outbound Greenline communication for the UK business. Ensuring brand protection, consistency, and professional image of all operational external and internal communications.

Responsibilities include

  • Work with the head of communications to develop the UK marketing strategy for Greenline.
  • To understand the marketplace, key competitors, and market trends to enable creation of new product development initiatives, working with the technical stakeholders.
  • A critical element for you will be to build strong stakeholder relationships across the business with the relevant technical teams, this will enable you to understand the challenges and priorities within the business unit and develop marketing strategies to support their work and generate interest in future new services.
  • To be a key member of the relevant SP25* Tribes** to share insights and create the value proposition.
  • To provide content direction and creation, working with the rest of the marketing team in delivery and output.
  • Ensuring the website and marketing channels are providing the viewer with the most relevant information on our services.
  • Review of all Greenline copy for consistency and professional image expected from a professional services organisation.
  • To develop Account Based Marketing strategies on the key clients working with the market leaders (sales) and the key account team.
  • To understand and develop the customer journey to generate marketing qualified leads into the business.
  • Build a relationship with the relevant teams across the Global Service Line (GSL).
  • To build on the Thought Leader programme, ensuring we have several technical people able to comment on topics, working with the PR agency.
  • Working with the Bid Team on any relevant tenders and bids within the Greenline services, ensuring we are positioning ourselves in the best light and generation of case studies which can be used in the bid proposals.
  • To look at alternative lead generation channels such as trade associations and how we can leverage the right relationships.
  • Working closely with the marketing manager and other members of the marketing team to plan, coordinate and support communications, products and publications related to events and campaign.

Key Requirements

  • Degree qualified in a Marketing / Communications or Media related discipline.
  • CIM
  • Demonstrable senior experience in a marketing environment
  • Specific experience of developing marketing and communication strategies for professional services aligned to the services within the Bureau Veritas Greenline portfolio
  • Ability to take a potentially complex and technically orientated service, challenge or product and present it in a meaningful, succinct, and understandable format
  • Experience of developing and maintaining key stakeholder relationships across a matrix organisation, a true business partner approach
  • Attention to detail
  • Literate and demonstrable use of English grammar
  • Copy writing experience
  • Highly mobile and flexible regarding UK travel
  • Experience of marketing campaign tools such as Hubspot, SalesForce etc.
  • Experience of design packages, media formats from traditional printed copy to video and motion graphic
