About the role:

A you will join our Business Analyst team and be closely engaged with Operating Divisions/Sites and Group Functions, identifying opportunities to improve business performance through process improvement and organisational change, enabled by changing business systems. This is a key role bridging the needs of the business with the use of IT, with major aspects being;

* Lead the process of drawing out and understanding Customer's business change needs and assessing the impact. Capturing, documenting and analysing requirements that will be the foundation for projects. Maximising business benefits wherever possible via standard Group–wide solutions

* Supporting the communication and delivery of those requirements with relevant parties.

* Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions; use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.

* Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources. Reconcile conflicts; decompose high–level information into details and abstract up from low–level information to a general understanding. Ensure User requests are distinguished from the underlying true business needs.

* Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional requirements. Deliver the key Outputs as appropriate: (Functional requirements, with process mapping, GUI, Screen and Interface designs).

* Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously, both under the direction of a Project Manager and full end to end BA led initiatives that span multiple disciplines.

* Work on initiatives relating to end to end FMCG processes, O2C, P2P and Manufacturing, ensuring proactive improvement of existing knowledge.

* Drive and challenge Business Stakeholders and Sponsors on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.

* Positively engage with, and manage a wide range of different stakeholders, including Senior Execs, and their expectations where their priorities may be unclear and conflicting.

* Serve as the conduit between the Customer Community (internal and external) and the

Software.

* This role is home based with an office hub in Wakefield. It is expected (post COVID restrictions being lifted) that you will be in the office one day per week with your team and attend any additional meetings in Wakefield or other sites as and when needed.

Experience/Knowledge/Qualifications:

* Food Manufacturing / FMCG background, with end to end process knowledge of O2C, P2P and Manufacturing – required

* Tertiary Level IT or Business–Related degree – desirable

* BCS Business Analysis qualification – desirable

* Minimum five years' experience working as a business analyst or in a similar role

* Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments

* Knowledge of business process re–engineering principles and processes

* Good knowledge of financial models and budgeting

* Skilled in requirements gathering, process mapping techniques and stakeholder management

* Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into requirements

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts

* Experience in using enterprise–wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required
