Interim Environmental Health Officer - Food Safety

My client based in Sussex is looking for a competent food safety officer to come in and help the team with the enforcement of food safety inspections. The authority is faced with a backlog of inspections due to the Covid–19 pandemic. They require someone for six months and are happy to pay hourly market rates in order to get someone in. The role is full–time, with a requirement to be on district for a large part of the role however there will be some home working included.

Requirements;

– EHORB registration or Higher Certificate in Food Safety

– CPDs up to date

The role is urgent and we do require someone with a local authority background to come in and hit the ground running.
