We have exciting opportunities for Project Managers with our defence clients in Bristol. Contracts are for a minimum of 12 months but likely to be ongoing. Currently partly remote working with 2 days per week on site.
The role is inside IR35
ROLE OUTLINE
As a Project Manager, responsibilities will include:
* Supporting and shaping client project delivery through suitable planning, monitoring, controlling and performance reporting
* Identifying risk and remedial actions
* Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and management processes
* Ensuring client business needs are met by specifying the programme/projects
* Leading and championing the application of suitable programme and project delivery strategies
* Conducting background research, data collection and benchmarking
* Establishing effective processes and systems to be used throughout a project
* Promoting positive working relationships with different stakeholders
* Preparing materials for projects and reports on progress, etc
The successful candidate will:
* Hold current and valid security clearance or ability to gain a SC clearance ( 5+ years' UK residency in order to gain it) this is essential
* Ideally have prior experience working with the defence sector
* Have at least 10 years experience as a qualified PM
* Knowledge of P3M practices
* Hold a PM recognised PM qualification (Prince2, APM PMQ..)
* Have a track record of successful project delivery
