Site Financial Controller

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a well established, VC backed business in Gainsborough as they look to recruit a Site Financial Controller to manage a team of 3 in finance.

This will be a hands on, challenging and yet exciting role which will involve strong leadership, development and mentor–ship of the 3 team members (who are all currently studying) within finance as well as supporting the Finance Director in timely production and analysis of month end accounts for board review. You will take an active role in supporting the budgeting and forecasting process along with FP&A duties to aid strategic business decision making. This is a development role so would certainly suit an individual looking to step into a role at this level for the first time, providing they can demonstrate strong and proven leadership skills from a previous role.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

*Annual budget preparation and process
*Rolling monthly forecast preparation
*Preparation and presentation of a monthly management reporting pack
*Customer and product profitability reporting
*Various KPI's and performance reports
*Development of business processes
*Optimisation of existing ERP solution / software packages
*Inventory management and valuation
*Ownership of costing parameters, impairments, provisions etc.
*Timely and accurate distribution of all daily, weekly and monthly report
*Ad hoc analysis of business / financial data
*Support strategic development of the business, identifying opportunities through effective use of data
*Identify ways to improve business process driving commercial benefit and governance
*Direct, develop, drive and empower the accounting team
*Manage training and development plans to feed effective succession planning, evaluating performance through the appraisal process
*Build strong working relationships across the business and with senior management team
*Business partnering with non–financial stakeholders to help effectively manage budgets and forecasts

To be considered for this role you MUST have the following:

*CIMA, ACCA OR ACA qualified
*Strong leadership/ management skills
*Strong Excel skills
*Good technical & numeracy skills
*Good interpersonal skills to organise members of the department
*Ability to meet tight deadlines
*Ability to communicate at all levels
*Ability to delegate where necessary
