The Role:

The successful post holder will be an integral member of the Directors Leadership Team. Through an understanding of the business, they will provide proactive insight, analysis, and commercial thinking to influence effective decision making & strategic financial planning.

You will need to lead an effective finance business partnering service, that works in partnership with the Directorate, to achieve excellent financial management and business objectives.

OCC need an individual that has the gravitas required, to provide professional support, advice and guidance to the Director, their Senior Managers, and the Cabinet Portfolio Holders.

You would be representing the Director of Finance, in discharging their responsibilities (within the Directorate), and in doing so, recognise the interests of the County Council as a whole, whilst instigating and maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance and financial control within the Directorate too.
