The Role

Our client, a leading utility solutions company, has seen exponential growth over the last few years. They are seeking a HR Director to lead them in the development of their people agenda and look at their current outsourcing model to seek to bring HR back in house to regain control and influence.

This is a fast paced and dynamic role which will require a good generalist HR professional, with significant experience in managing TUPE and acquisitions as well as experience in employee relations and the range of HR activities such as recruitment, onboarding and leavers process.

Currently the organisation outsources must of its HR function and wants to review that model and seeks an individual to look at the organisation design of HR, propose alternatives and then seek to implement the new design and ultimately be responsible or delivering the functional outcomes and driving the company forward.

You will have a solid understanding of HR case law, you will be well–versed in TUPE and be able to manage large scale change projects and have a keen eye for innovation and ensuring the HR function deliver an optimum customer journey for everyone with who they interact.

As a company who is rapidly expanding they are keen for the successful candidate to develop and deliver a robust corporate wellbeing, a sort and long term people agenda along with re–design the HR function to deliver the outcomes for the business.

Who are they looking for?

* Extensive experience in TUPE and acquisitions

* Generalist HR experience at a senior strategic level (HR Director or Senior Business Partner)

* Ideally utility industry experience or experience of working in a sector with multiple sites & locations and an industrial workforce

* Good knowledge of employment law

* Experience of managing Employee elations cases

* Experience of working with employment law solicitors – ET's & ACAS

* Ability to travel nationwide as required
