We have an exciting new opportunity for a Business Finance Manager to join our growing Finance team at our Head Office in Birmingham. The BFM will be responsible for the finance functions of NX Leisure and NX Ireland. It will have a key role in the budget and forecasting process as well as the month end management accounts and group reporting.
As the successful candidate, you will deliver forecasts and budgets that meet the overall needs of the business and effectively highlight commercial risks and opportunities on a timely basis.
What you'll do...
Establish credibility with the areas of responsibility providing key financial support to maximise delivery of the Divisions ambitions
Deliver financial insight and analysis of costs and revenue to drive greater operational efficiency and improved profitability
Delivery of weekly and monthly KPI reporting to the senior leadership team.
Manage the overall costs of key business functions ensuring financial control is maintained and financial processes are improved.
Delivery of monthly management accounts as part of month–end process.
Lead from a finance perspective on ad hoc projects as appropriate.
Identify, pursue and deliver cost savings and efficiencies
To undertake any other reasonable duty dictated by the needs of the business.
What we're looking for...
Qualified Accountant (or similar) is preferred.
You will ideally have strong IT skills and be able to use Microsoft Office including Word, Excel etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be confident and comfortable in supporting our Senior Management and Executive Directors at NX.
Be a confident communicator and the ability to work under pressure to support the business needs.
Great presentation skills and to be able to present data to Senior Management if/when required.
