Security Systems Engineer (CCTV, Alarm Systems)
Location: You will be permanently working from HMP Whitemoor, PE15 0PR
Salary: GBP39K per annum
Contract: Full time, Permanent
We are Gov Facility Service Ltd, a non–profit company owned entirely by the Ministry of Justice, supplying facilities management services to 50 prisons over the South and East of the UK with an employee count of 1400.

We are seeking a Security Systems Engineer to assume responsibility for:
* Maintenance, installation and repair of security and other critical systems within the prison establishment.
* Supporting projects associated with security and specialist systems.
* Fault finding and ensuring satisfactory fault rectification.
* The systems you will look after include but will not be limited to: CCTV, Fire, Pids, Electric Lockin, Access Control, Biometrics, Tamper Alarms, Equipment related, UPS, Heart Beat System, Key Tagging, Night Pegging, X–Ray Equipment, Traka key management system, Cell Call System and General Alarms.
You must be able to demonstrate the following Qualifications and Experience:
* Electrician qualified to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or national Certificate in Electrical and Electronic engineering or equivalent.
* Must have a certificate in BS7671 – The Requirements for Electrical Installations, 17th or 18th Edition.
* BTEC Level 3 or above CCTV Maintenance qualification.
* BTEC Level 3 Fire Alarm Maintenance qualification.
* BTEC Level 3 Advanced CCTV Networking qualification.
* You will need to meet our stringent vetting requirements and satisfy pre–employment checks.
