I am working with a Central government organisation who are looking for an experienced Senior Finance manager for 12 months. The role is full time hybrid working based in Bristol paying GBP350 a day umbrella, to start ASAP.
This role is only open to people who currently hold an active SC/DV clearance. Please ensure that your clearance level, sponsor and expiry date is on your CV.
The responsibilities include:
To lead and oversee either an accounting function (Financial Accounts, Finance Business Partnering, Budget Control or Strategy),
Manage multiple teams ensuring that the transactional services pay its employees, contractors and suppliers, within agreed parameters, in a timely and accurate manner
Ensuring that ledgers properly reflect supplier information.
Ensure that accounting standards meet statutory standards, internal policies andUnderstanding of information management.
Proficient in the use of information technology.
Finance and budget management skills.
Programme/project management skills.
Proven experience of leading and managing a multifunctional team.
Experience of business planning and monitoring performance.
