Procurement Business Partner

Our Public Sector client is looking to recruit a Procurement Business Partner on an initial 3 month contract but with likely extensions.
Your role will be to run medium to high value procurement exercises on a end to end based across the Commercial Services Sector. You will lead on procurement and commissioning projects, formulate approaches and strategy, delivering savings, deliver effective commercial challenge and maximise the value of contracts.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* Managed end to end procurement and commissioning activities in a Public Sector environment
* Understanding of strategic context for procurement
* Project management and leaderships skills
* Commercial awareness
* Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
* Knowledge of legislation in Public Sector procurement
* Ability to prepare and present business cases
* Preference will be given to candidates who are CIPS Qualified.
This role is based from Ipswich however the role will initially be working from home however could change during the course of the assignment so some flexibility in some office working would be ideal. Equipment, induction and training will be carried out from Ipswich.
Day rate: GBP350 per day umbrella (negotiable)
