Head of Finance Transformation – ERP System Implementation – 12 Month FTC

Axon Moore are looking for a Head of Finance and Transformation to work on a high profile ERP system implementation for a hugely successful Manchester based, e-commerce business with a strong brand and reputation for quality.

As Head of Finance and Transformation you will be working for a business with a turnover of circa £270 million per annum who are currently undergoing a Finance Transformation program, it is an excellent time to join the organisation as you will be directly involved in shaping the future of Finance.

The successful candidate will report directly into the CFO and be part of a vibrant leadership team in a state-of-the-art office space.

Job Description:

As Head of Finance ​and Transformation your remit will be to project manage the end to end implementation of the new ERP system and ensure this goes as smoothly as possible. Predominately you will act as the intermediary between IT, group and commercial finance.

Duties:

• Lead the Finance implementation of the new ERP system
• Mapping the ‘as is’ and ‘to be’
• Requirement gathering
• Manage the development cycle
• User acceptance testing
• Test scrips
• Liaising with key stakeholders internally
• Process and control improvement
• Manage the release / go live

Person Specification:

• Finance transformation and specifically ERP system implementation experience
• At least Financial Controller level
• ACCA / CIMA or ACA qualified (or equivalent)
• Project Management background
• Prince2 or equivalent advantageous
• Available at short notice to interview / start

The overall package includes a bonus, calculated on company performance, 5% contributory pension, healthcare and company discounts.
